About Us

The company is founded by Nitisha Jiwa (CPsychol). She is a HCPC Registered and Chartered Forensic Psychologist. She has worked across settings for children, young people and adults including: HMPPS long-term, high secure custodial environments, residential care providers for children and young people, the NSPCC and drug and alcohol recovery teams. She has over 10 years of experience in working with children, young people and adults who present with complex needs. This has included providing specialist psychological assessments, consultancy, intervention, training and reflective supervision for professional services. She also provides expert witness testimony within court and Parole Board settings. The company was founded to address the gap in forensic provisions for children and young people who present with specific risks, needs and/ or vulnerabilities.

I truly care for the people I support and hope to provide an understanding of their forensic needs through evidence-based approaches to specialist provision. At times I feel there is a lack of understanding towards the input Forensic Psychology can have towards supporting a child in trauma responsive ways, that sensitively explore and address their forensic needs. I hope to develop a service that embeds principles of care, compassion and ethical practice through collaborative working with children/ young people and their care teams.
